Compiled from long-hidden images, John Baer: The Extraordinary Ordinary – A Memoir in Photographs, 1945–1954 is one of the most important visual imprints of the post-war decade. The 248-page volume is published by Paper Cinema Editions with art direction by Yolanda Cuomo, and texts alongside the original photographs by Alexa Dilworth. The comprehensive album presents the photographs in two major units: one documenting the rebuilding of Europe, the other New York in the 1950s.
